At Holista, our mission is to simplify your healthcare experience. We work behind the scenes as a third-party administrator, acting as a bridge between your provider and your health plan. Our job is to help ensure that your therapy services are processed accurately and efficiently.
At Holista, we work behind the scenes to support key parts of your healthcare experience. While we’re not your insurance company, we partner with your therapist and health plan to help manage important administrative tasks such as appeals, audits, claims coordination, and provider support. Our role is to ensure your provider has the information they need, your services are reviewed in a timely manner, and everything stays aligned with the benefits outlined in your plan.
That said, Holista does not set, expand, or limit the number of visits you receive, nor do we approve or deny coverage. Those decisions are made solely by your insurance provider based on your individual health plan. Think of us as a support system—we help facilitate and process care, but we don’t make benefit decisions ourselves.
We work directly with doctors, therapists, and clinics to help them navigate billing, approvals, and network questions. This means they can spend more time focused on your care — and less time dealing with paperwork. If your provider has a question about authorizations or claims, they can reach out to us, and we’ll help guide them through the process.
If you have questions about your benefits, copays, or coverage, your best resource is to contact your insurance company. We recommend calling the number on the back of your member ID card.
*If your provider says that Holista is limiting your visits or denying services, we encourage you to reach out to our Provider Relations department so we can help clarify and correct any misunderstandings your provider may have.
